The Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department Presents

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6TH

The Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department (WBVFD) will be coming through your community collecting new toys and clothing for children in need. Have your wrapped gift, indicating whether it is for a girl or boy and the age or size ready. 
 
       This program continues to grow each year with the support from the members of the WBVFD and the communities we serve in the Edgewater and Mayo areas. Last year we collected hundreds of presents for children that would not have a Christmas without this program. The Anne Arundel County Food Bank was able to distribute all of them to families throughout Anne Arundel County. We are working with them again this year to distribute the presents. 
 
      We will ride through your community with Santa and pick up presents at the time and designated pick up areas listed below. Since the program is so large we split our area up and go out in groups. Please note that the time we enter your community may not be the time we are at your stop. Please allow us sufficient time to pick up presents from your fellow neighbors. We do our best to try to stay on time! 
 
Turkey Point – We will enter the community at 5:00 p.m. making stops at the corners of Turkey Point Road and Brice Drive and Turkey Point Road and Knox Drive. 
 
Woodland Beach – We will start in the community at 5:00 p.m. by stopping at the Clubhouse and then we will continue to Beach 1, Beach 2, Beach 3, and Beach 4.     Then Stopping at Widows Mite Rd. at Londontown Rd. @ 5:30 p.m. 
 
South River Colony - We will enter the community at 5:00 p.m. making stops at street corners along Colony Crossing. On the Estate side, we will be stopping at Colony Crossing and Old Trail and Old Trail and Perder Lane. Please note that due to the size of the neighborhood and the large number of supporters it takes us 1 to 1 ½ hours to complete our stops here. 
 
Gingerville – With the help of the West Annapolis VFD, we will enter your community at 5:00 p.m. making stops at the corner of Tarragon Lane and Cardamon Drive and Fennel Road and Tarragon Lane.

Heron Cove – Will enter the community at 5:00 p.m. making a stop at Great Heron Dr. and Great Heron Ct. 
 
Wilelinor Estates – With the help of the West Annapolis VFD, we will pick at the United Church of Christ parking lot at 5:30 p.m.

Withernsea – We will enter the community at 5:30 p.m. and stop at the corner of Shirley La. and Rolling Rd. 
 
Saunders Point - We will enter the community at 5:30 p.m. making stops along Carvel Lane at Stuart Road and Lane Drive and Carroll Drive at Ridgely Drive, Lee Way, and Warfield Road.

Loch Haven - We will enter the community at 6:30 p.m. and stop along South River Terr. at Magnolia Dr., Popular Leaf, and Loch Haven Rd also along Loch Haven Rd at Walnut Dr. and Plain View Ave.

Loch Haven Park – We will stop at the Ball fields on Pocahontas Rd. @ 7:00. This is a great gathering spot so come see us. 
 
 West Shoreham- We will enter the community at 6:15 p.m. making stops at Pine Avenue and Cove Road and Cedar Lane and Shoreham Beach Road. 
 
 Southdown Shores- We will enter Southdown Shores at 6:15 p.m. making a stop at the Clubhouse. From the Clubhouse we will proceed to the corner of Locust Street and Stewart Drive and then make stops along Hazelwood Road. Please note we will enter Southdown Estates at approximately 7:00 p.m. 
 
 The Landings- We will enter the community at 6:20 p.m. making stops along Glebe Meadow Way at Colony Point Place, Hayward Court, and Westfield Court. 
 
 River Oaks- We will enter the community at 7:00 p.m. making stops along Millhaven Drive at Tilden Way, Two Rivers Drive, and Millhaven Court. 
 
 Ponder Cove- We will enter the community at 7:00 p.m. making stops at Ponder Drive and Crystal Road and Fairview Road and Grandview Drive. 
 
 South River Park & Pine Whiff Beach- We will enter the community at 7:00 p.m. making stops at Wilmer Pl. at Pine Whiff Ave., Gate to South River Landing, Holley Rd. At Riverside Rd. 
 
 Selby- We will enter the community at 7:30 p.m. making stops along Selby Blvd at the corners of 7th, 5th, 3rd, and 1st Avenues and along Hillside Avenue at the corners of 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th Avenues. 
 
If your community is not on the list and you and your neighbors would like to support the program next year, please visit www.woodlandbeachvfd.com and leave an e-mail to the Chief. In the message leave your name, phone number, and community name. 
 
If you would like to contribute but are unavailable to on December 6th or your community is not on the list, you can drop off your donation to the WBVFD located at 529 Londontown Road on Saturday, December 5th from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday, December 8th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m 
 
We are also collecting non-perishable food items, gently used coats, hats, and gloves for adults and children. Please do not wrap these items. These items can be picked up by Santa or dropped off at the WBVFD on the above dates.
