At 15:22hrs station 2 was alerted to the 2-18 box in the 2700 block of Solomons Island Rd for the reported vehicle fire. Medic engine 2 arrived to find a single vehicle with fire from the engine compartment. The Lt. from ME2 advanced the trash line from the front bumper to extinguish the fire. Medic engine 2 was on scene for thirty minuted.
