At 22:05hrs while clearing the MVC at Solomons Island and Colony Crossing, Chief 2 called out reporting an MVC with entrapment at Solomons Island Rd and Stepneys Ln. Units were less than 1/2 mile south of this intersection so they headed that direction. Medic engine 2 arrived and pulled the 1 3/4 trash line to be placed in service while extrication was being performed, Squad 2 arrived and stabilized the vehicle and popped the drivers side door and removed the rear driveers side door and B post from the vehicle to gain access to the patient. Crews called for the MSP Trooper for a trauma referral. 1 patient was taken to an area trauma center while one patient was transported local for precaution. Crews were on scene for just under 1 hour.
